Terms of Service

Welcome to Visto. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Visto is provided as-is, offered free of charge during its current phase, and is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

Your account

You are responsible for the information you publish on your passport and for interactions with other travelers, including through the Share Taxi feature. Do not impersonate others, harass users, or share illegal content.

Share Taxi

Share Taxi helps travelers find others heading in a similar direction. Visto does not operate taxis or transport services and is not a party to any ride you take. You are responsible for your own safety when meeting or traveling with other users.

Content ownership

You retain ownership of the content you post (trips, guides, experiences). By publishing a public passport, you grant Visto a limited license to display it on the service.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum necessary to run the service: your email (for authentication), your profile information (username, display name, travel style, visited countries), and the content you create (trips, guides, experiences, taxi share requests).

How we use your data

• To operate and personalize your passport.
• To match you with nearby travelers in Share Taxi (approximate location, departure window).
• To improve the service through aggregated, non-identifying analytics.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't share your precise location with other travelers — matching happens server-side.
• We don't run advertising trackers.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. You can also delete your account directly from settings.

Storage & subprocessors

Data is stored on managed infrastructure in the European Union. We use standard authentication, database, and hosting providers to operate the service.
